Happy October again everyone! Fall is definitely here! Fall is not only about hot chocolates, spiced pumpkin cakes, scented candles, cozy faux fur throws, layers of clothing, yummy sweaters and loads of cuddles. Fall is also all about the freshness and health of the skin, not covered up, not heavy, so it really comes down to good skin maintenance. Gentle cleaning, exfoliating, toning and lots of moisturiser will keep skin looking fresh and healthy. It’s so important to switch things up not just as the seasons change but as your needs change as well. During the drier months I make sure to up the hydration factor with more creams and oils rather than a simple light moisturiser. On top of that I make sure I’m lightly exfoliating once or twice a week to slough away dry, flaky skin.

Smooth clear skin has always been my focus and I’ve tried a lot of new things over the past months . It does take time to get the results and here is just my few favourites I’ve been putting to the test and absolutely love. I wanted to share a post dedicated to skincare and how you can transition your daily regimen to something that’s more appropriate of the season. Here’s a list of my favourite products to hydrate and nourish your skin this Fall.

I’ve been using the SKII skincare line for years and this has always been in my skincare wardrobe. There are cleansing oils out there and then there's SK-II Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil. This is by far the best cleansing oil in the market. I have tried so many brands but none compared to this one. This is light and silky, not too thick nor too thin/watery. It is marvelous at removing makeup and extremely gentle. You can remove it with a dry tissue but I prefer not to do it that way and rinse it off. My skin is smooth, soft and supple!

Portable sonic facial cleansing for cleaner, clearer, more beautiful skin.
Featuring Clarisonic’s latest Sonic Skin Cleaning System and a new, travel-friendly design the Mia 2 is the ultimate skincare tool, offering unparalleled form and functionality on-the-go. It also boasts two speed options, a one minute pulsing T-timer and a protective travel case for easy portability. Rechargeable and waterproof, all Clarisonic models can be used in the bath or shower and with a variety of cleansing oils, balms or washes to remove makeup and deeply purify pores. This gentle sonic treatment can be used up to twice a day as a highly effective, skin-friendly alternative to manual cleansing.

Oskia's potent blend of bio-available vitamins and fruit enzymes quickly and gently lifts impurities and make-up while actively illuminating and nourishing the skin. Pumpkin enzymes deeply cleanse pores and thoroughly remove dull skin cells without irritation while Vitamins C&E, known for their restorative properties, help fortify and protect the skin against free radicals and environmental damage. Skin is left clean, balanced and feeling wonderfully soft and smooth.

Beautiful scent and makes my face feel really hydrated. A quick spritz of this neroli and rose-scented face mist refreshes the skin and lifts the spirits…

Purifying and hydrating, this toner was inspired by the Queen of Hungary Water, the world’s first recorded perfume, formulated for Queen Elisabeth of Hungary in the 14th century. Perfect for a midday pick-me-up or as a post-cleanse toner.

Yeah can I say that I LOVE facial oils? It feels so pampering massaging this on my face before I go to bed, knowing when I wake up my skin will look rested and plump. It's an oil, but it does not "sit" on your skin, but leaves my face feeling like silk. It can work with the serum you use or on its own, and is a great blend of natural oils with potent serums. The anti-ageing formula also helps to calm stressed skin and is naturally fragranced with a soothing pure essential oil blend of jasmine, frangipani, rose and tuberose.

Flora Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil works to de-crease your complexion (and promote positivity) with a beautiful blend of Russian, Bulgarian and Turkish roses, while rose geranium and palma rosa work together to encourage lymphatic detoxification for clear, healthy and younger-looking skin. Rosehip oil – a natural source of trans-retinoic acid – accelerates cell regeneration to maintain skin brightness and vitality, while a unique blend of botanical lipids helps to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. The deeply replenishing formula is ideal for anyone with any especially dry or lacklustre complexion (irrespective of age) flooding skin with precious moisture to restore a youthful radiance.

This powerful formula activates skin to recharge itself to appear smoother and immediately plumped. Skin texture is refined for a more healthy and youthful appearance. Its lightweight and fluffy texture seems to disappear onto the skin, softening it without greasiness for a unique smooth that ends with a semi-matt finish on the skin.

Amazing Face, Hand and Nail treatment Cream (£24.00 / 100ml)

cream. Shea butter and botanical extracts help to lighten and gently fade imperfections and age spots, while keratin helps to strengthen nails and inca inch oil conditions and moisturises skin.
